On October 1st, 2016, South Korea staged its military parade which was held at the capital, Seoul. Known as Armed Forces day, the parade was celebrated with an opening ceremony officiated by the Korean Minister of defense, and the welcoming speech was delivered by South Korean President Park Geun-Hye.

Marching bands, accompanied by thousands of troops, special forces operations, and special missile systems were on display during the parade. This live event was broadcasted on KBS TV from South Korea which began at 10:00 A.M. at the Military Airport, just south of Seoul.

Every year, the United States and South Korea conducts a military exercise drill, also known as a live fire military drill. Military forces would practice these drills to prepare to launch new missiles against North Korea. They will soon plan to develop new weapons to remove the North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un from power.
