Hurricane Harvey weighed in as a category 4 hurricane that passed over Houston, Texas and the storm nearly destroyed everything in its path. Texas is currently recovering from all of the damages. The streets flooded, driving people out of their homes with no where to go. Search and rescue had to use boats and jet skies down the streets to help people out of their homes.

The cost of damages is estimated at $180 billion dollars. The community is helping out as much as they can. Many people have gathered together to raise money to send to Houston. Blankets, cases of water, and food has been sent out to help families effected by the storm. The hurricane did not go easy on the state, but all efforts are being put in to make the people of Texas feel comfortable.
