Following Homecoming, Winter Week is Kohala High School’s most beloved spirit traditions. Winter Week includes holiday dress up activities such as “Santa’s Helpers” and “Christmas Spirit”. Monday’s spirit day was “Christmas morning”–classes dressed in their Pajamas as if they just woke up on Christmas morning. Spirit dress up days come with noontime activities for the school to participate in and for classes to earn extra points. Christmas morning came with fun games, and classes had a “Snowball Toss” during lunch recess. Snow was replaced with flour; participants got pretty dirty as they played in the ‘snow’. The Freshmen won the game, followed by the Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores.
