Senior Night: Girls Basketball vs. Kea’au

As the regular season comes to an end, the Varsity Cowgirls seeded third entering the playoffs. They faced Keaau Cougars this past Saturday. By halftime Cowgirls were winning 31-25. Kiana Kauka was the leading scorer with 39 points, followed by Jasmine Hook with 16 points. At the end of the game the score was tied 62-62 with Camylle Jayde Agbayani, Cheyenne Fuertes, and Maya Anderson fouling out, which left the Cowgirls with only 4 girls left to play. With a 4 minute over time and only 4 girls left to play; Angel Ramos, Jasmine Hook, Kiana Kauka and Zaz Matsu, the Cowgirls were able to keep on pushing and came out with a win 74-65.

JV by halftime was winning 20-15. Laila Caravalho was the leading scorer, followed by Tiani Perez with 12 points, Zaylynn Moniz and Kailee Paro with 7 points each. The JV Cowgirls kept holding the lead and came out with a win 42-33. Way to end the season!

To honor their last home game, the seniors Maya Anderson, Camylle Jayde Agbayani, Cheyenne Fuertes, Angel Ramos, and Zaz Matsu were given leis and took their last shots.
