Construction Update 2018

The goal of this construction was to encourage STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) courses for students. The reason for doing this construction now was because the funding for it finally came through and because our current laboratory is old and not safe for students to use anymore.

According to Kohala High Principal Mrs. Snelling, this STEM building is not actually going to look like our school classrooms; it’s to be an actual laboratory and two stories high. This project should be done by December 2018 but able for students to use by February 2019 because of the inspections that need to be done.
