Our Kohala Cowgirls softball team traveled to Hilo and faced the Waiakea Warriors. The Cowgirls were able to take a early lead of 7-2 and held it down until the 4th inning in which they gave up 9 runs. In the last 3 innings it was a constant battle back and forth with both teams striving to gain and hold the lead.
Unfortunately the Cowgirls fell short taking the 12-13 loss. Their next match will be on Thursday 3/15 @ Konawaena.
