Does an all expenses paid vacation to Hilo sound good to you?  Well, you can spend 3 weeks traveling the Hawaii Island with Hawaiioutdoors.org June 29th-July 19th.  Meet kids from all across America and learn how to protect Hawaii ecosystems.  See Mr. Douglas in Rm 22 for more info.

JUNIORS: It is time to register for the College Board SAT Test being administered at Kohala High on August 25, 2018.  DEADLINE for registration is July 27.  Registration for the SAT exam is to be completed online @ www.sat.org/register  If you are Free and Reduced Lunch, check with Ms. Nietfeld regarding a SAT test FEE WAIVER.

The following Boys Volleyball players pls. turn in your uniforms to the office:  Syro and Kahoali’i.

This is a REMINDER to have your LUNCH and BREAKFAST Tickets handy when you want to be served.  Too many chances are being taken, so now there are no chances!!

STUDENTS AND TEACHERS:

Monday is May Day!  The May Day Performance  will begin at 6pm at Kamehameha Park so be sure to get there early.  If you want to be able to eat before the performance, Aunty Shirley and her culinary classes will be selling plates of Hawaiian Food for $10 beginning at 4pm.

On behalf of the Kohala Lion’s club, we would like to thank the following Leo club members for attending the Lion’s Club dinner on Tuesday night at the Adam’s home.  MJ Macaspac, Jeremy Barayuga, Mark Sahagun, Joseph Jimenez, and Jashel Jose. We hope you had fun and look forward to seeing you at the next event. Kohala Lion’s is part of the Lion’s International organization which is the world’s largest service club organization with 46,000 clubs and 1.4+ million members.  The Kohala Lions sponsors and supports our Kohala High School Leo’s Club. Students interested in joining the Leo Club can get an application from Mrs. Pasco.

The Lion’s will be having their annual Mother’s Day breakfast, May 13,  from 7 am – 10 am at the school cafeteria. Leo club members see Mr. Kealoha or Mrs. Pasco to help with the breakfast service.
