Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is set to depict the Hawaiian King Kamehameha in the new film The King, which has the truly fortunate inventive group of executive director Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump) and screenwriter Randall Wallace (Braveheart) behind it.

King Kamehameha was a power to be reckoned with while ruling the Hawaiian islands between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and was able to join the greater part of the islands from a close consistent condition of war and frenzy.

Dwayne Johnson got the acting role of his dreams.
