According to the New York Times, a total of 42 people are dead and over 200 are missing. The wildfire burned through 125,000 acres and 7,600 structures, making this is one of the most destructive and deadliest wildfires in California’s history.

For people that want to help out these victims, the state is accepting donations through The Red Cross and The Salvation Army.  A little goes a long way so if you are able to help these people in need they would be more than happy.
