Stan Lee was a comic book legend who wrote many popular titles and created many different superheroes like Iron Man and Spider-Man. Throughout his life he created heroes to make sure no child or adult ever felt alone in the world and that being different wasn’t a bad thing. People have more recently known him for his cameos in Marvel Movies and the Teen Titans Go! movie. However he had a hand in over 100’s of comic books, even some old DC comic books.

He has recently passed away at the old age of 95 on November 12th, 2018 because of pneumonia. The Hollywood Reporter was one of the first to report the tragedy and the news quickly spread throughout the world. Let’s hope whatever happens, he’s still making people happy in the afterlife.

“I wanted them to be diverse. The whole underlying principle of the X-Men was to try to be an anti bigotry story to show there’s good in every person.” – Stan Lee

Rest in peace.
