3rd Annual “Pake Ching” Memorial Hunting Tournament

The “3rd Annual Pake Ching” tournament is right around the corner.  For those who love to hunt or are interested in hunting, there will be the “Pake Ching” hunting tournament on Saturday October 12,2013.  There will be an entry fee of $25 per person. All entry forms and payments may be sent to Johnelle Ching  at P.O. The weigh in will be from  10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  You must be in the weigh in line by 5 p.m. or pigs will be disqualified.  NO LATER THAN 5 P.M. The weigh in will be hosted at 53-3881 Puke Place/ Ainakea, the Kohala subdivision right after Kohala Hospital on the makai Side.

There will be 4 categories: Heaviest Boar, Heaviest Laho’ole, Heaviest Sow, Longest Tusk.  For each category there will be 3 places which consists of First, Second, & Third.  There can be 1-4 people on a team and 5 dogs per team.  No pigs from traps and or snares, and remove all intestines.

There will be awards to follow with dinner.  All proceeds from this tournament will be used toward an education fund for Pake Ching’s sons Micah, Railen, & Clyson.
