Holiday Preparations

Itʻs that time of the year again! The holidays! With Thanksgiving passed it is now December and Christmas is right around the corner! In other words itʻs crunch time. Before you know it itʻll be New Years! This segment is going to guide you on getting ready for the holidays and the stress that can come along with it.

First and foremost make a schedule of all the things you need to get done.

You can also help your parents clean around the house, fill the atmosphere with Christmas decorations, and pull out the old artificial Christmas tree or even buy a real one.

Make a list of all your closest friends and family and figure out something nice to give to them (sometimes just the thought itself counts). Wrap gifts as you buy them. Not only will this keep eyes from seeing them but itʻll save you time on Christmas Eve.

Mail cards, if you’re too busy to get them addressed and mailed during the first week of December. Consider putting them off until after the holiday rush. Get help from your parents too! People generally enjoy getting a card a few days late, when things have slowed down and they actually notice the mail.

Next, follow through with all your activities and GET THEM DONE. This step is the most crucial. Making a list of things to do and not pulling it off can result in a stress over load!

Speaking from experience Iʻm telling you itʻs best to start early and get done early.

Basically, organize yourself so you know what to do and when to do those things. Keep up with your schedule and follow through each and every step. By doing this itʻll be Christmas before you know it. Youʻll be the holiday preparation master! Then you can sit back, relax and enjoy great company. Good luck and Happy Holidays.
