Get Ready For The Superbowl!

NFL Super bowl XLVIII (Super Bowl 48) – Kick off is scheduled for Sunday February 2, 2014 between NFC’s best and AFC’s best: the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos! Both teams stand with a record of 13 wins and 3 losses. That could all change by this ONE game. However, this could be anyone’s game. The only big difference between these two teams is that Denver has the best offense led by Peyton Manning and  Seattle has quite a good defense led by Russell Wilson. Although Denver’s defense isn’t as up to par as Seattle, it’s there when it needs to be.

This will be the first super bowl played outdoors in a cold weather environment. From statistic view the Seahawks have a slight advantage due to being use to playing in cold weather. The Broncos on the other hand could struggle just a bit. Manning, Denver’s new yet known quarterback, has had a few mishaps playing in cold weather in the past. Wilson, Seahawk’s QB, is confident he will succeed.

Seattle is a relatively young, inexperienced team; no player on its roster has ever played in a Super Bowl. The age gap between Manning (37) and the Seahawks’ Russell Wilson (25) is the largest ever between opposing Super Bowl quarterbacks.

Denver returns their offense from 2012 along with the best receiver in the league: Wes Welker and a rookie running back, Montee Ball. Ball could prove to be Denver’s franchise running back. Although, Denver has gained another RB, Knowshon Moreno. This Broncos offense is stacked.

All in all, this could turn out to be one of the best super bowl games in history! Pull out a pop up tent, some chairs, some cold drinks and root for your team! Good luck!
