Legalization in Colorado creates problems for other states

As of January 1, 2014, the act of purchasing and consuming cannabis was made legal in Colorado.  Washington is looking at sometime this summer to legalize purchase of cannabis and already allows the consumption of cannabis.  However the cannabis in Colorado seems to be making its way into neighboring states like Nebraska.  Law enforcers are frustrated with dealing with the cost of jailing and prosecuting drug law offenders said to have ties with the legalization in Colorado.  With Washington looking to make the act of purchasing cannabis legal this summer, Oregon is looking to be the next state to legalize cannabis for recreational use to prevent costly regulation.
