Kohala Country Fair Will Bring Community Together

The Kohala Country Fair is an annual event that will be held on October 4th from 9 AM to 4 PM. We will be celebrating the fairs 30th anniversary at the 10-acre fairgrounds in Kapaau, North Kohala. The fair includes games, food, live music, exhibits and contests. There’s fun for everyone! The community will make memories that will last forever. People of all ages will walk through the paths shopping for jewelry, food, sweets, plants, artifacts, paintings, toys and much more. The Kohala Country Fair has become  the largest country fair on the Big Island. Duncan Anderson, a teacher at Kohala Middle School, will be in charge of the Tug-Of-War and relay races. He says “The Country Fair is a good way for the community to come together because the people of Kohala love food, family and fun.”
