Christmas Season Starting Early

It is said over and over again. The Christmas season is starting earlier every year!  Retailers and other big companies put out ads, sales, decorations and products out every year, some starting as early as September. According to a news site CNBC, consumer searches started on October 23rd last year, and this year they’re a month earlier on September 28th. People start looking for products for the holidays 2 months before December even starts. Christmas is becoming much more commercialized.

It is tradition to start Christmas after Thanksgiving, or even on the 1st of December. People can be annoyed that it starts early, because it breaks this tradition. Christmas is a wonderful holiday and it should not be about buying things and getting good deals on products.
