Cowgirls Spoil WaveRiders’ Senior Game

On April 1, 2015, the Cowgirls traveled to Kealakehe to face the WaveRiders for a BIIF softball game. The Cowgirls lead off the first inning with two runs and held down the WaveRiders, gaining no runs. In the second inning Kohala brought in two more runs and Kealakehe managed to score one.

By the third inning, the score was 4-1. Kohala took advantage of Kealakehe’s errors and scored seven runs on top of the four already scored and ended the inning 11-1. Kohala came up to bat and managed to score two more runs to put them far in the lead, 13-1. Kealakehe, being the home team, got last at bat. The first batter up hit a triple and managed to score two runs.

Missy Fernandez struck out the last batter to end the game 13-3, Kohala.
