August 11, 2015
On July 29, 2015, speculation went around the chain of islands in the state of Hawaii. People were warned that a Tropical depression that soon turned into a tropical storm named “Guillermo” was about to hit. The storm slowly peaked as a Category 2 hurricane on August 1. It wasn’t long before the storm broke down into a tropical storm again on August 3 to cause confusion for the islanders. On August 7 the storm was finally confirmed of not hitting any of the Islands but just gradually drifting through with mild winds and rains.
