Homes for the Homeless!

Jonard Asencion, Reporter

fA Hawaii nonprofit is helping the homeless by renovating shelters for them, including those with medical conditions. HomeAidHawaii is helping the homeless find better places to live where they won’t have to live on the streets or on the beaches. Local construction industries are providing all materials for the shelters and have given full support to the community. They plan to build two shelters for the homeless and to improve their lifestyle as citizens.

The shelters are expected to be open in March, first for homeless people who are discharged from hospitals or need medical care. Many communities are helping to make this project work fantastically.  No money is put into the project so this is a good thing. More projects to help the homeless are hopefully in effect soon but for now we start with their homes.
