HP Reveals the World’s Thinnest Laptop yet

HP recently came out with their new Spectre laptop, measuring in at four-tenths of an inch thick and weighing a bit less than two and a half pounds. The new Spectre laptop is lighter and also thinner than Apple’s 13-inch Macbook Pro, but weighs slightly more than Apple’s newest Macbook.

The Spectre is meant to compete with other high end laptops, being priced at a whopping $1,170. The laptop is also meant to lure in customers who care about power, boasting a Intel core i7 processor, up to 10 hours of battery life, and 8 GB of memory.

HP is currently in need of a new attraction for their declining sales. In the last three months of 2015, HP reported a 11% decline in laptop sales and a 14% decline in desktop sales. HP hopes the new Spectre will be that new attraction and spark a turnaround in their declining sales.
