Reaction to Donald Trump’s Sexist Comment About Hillary Clinton

On Tuesday night, Donald Trump, who won 5 primaries and became that much closer to winning the GOP nomination for president, ended the night with a jab at democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.

Trump said, “the only card she has is the woman’s card. She’s got nothing else going on. And frankly, if Hillary Clinton were a man, I don’t think she’d get 5 percent of the vote. The only thing she’s got going is the women’s vote. And the beautiful thing is that women don’t like her.”

Being that this was just another absurd comment made by Trump that is, in no way, the truth, he, of course, got an unsurprising reaction from the crowd. More specifically, the wife of a man endorsing Donald Trump.

After republican governor Chris Christie tried his hand at winning the republican nomination, he ended up endorsing Trump and his campaign for the republican nomination for president.

While Trump was giving his sexist comment about Hillary, Mary Pat Christie made a face very clearly showing that she was quite annoyed with what he said.

Although many would agree that it’s quite sad that Trump had to bring up Clinton in the way he did, it wasn’t the first time he made comments about Hillary playing the “woman’s card”.

In response to Trump’s comments about Hillary playing the “woman card”, Clinton said, “the other day, Mr. Trump accused me of playing the, quote, woman card. Well, if fighting for women’s health care and paid family leave and equal pay is playing the woman card, then deal me in!”

Luckily for Mary Pat Christie, even though her husband is endorsing Trump, she still has the right to vote for whomever she chooses on November 9th.
