LDS General Conference broadcasts live on Oct. 1

The 186th Semi-annual General Conference Meeting is scheduled to broadcast from the LDS Conference Center on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah on Saturday, October 1st. The live broadcast will go on air from 6:00 A.M., lasting until 8:00 A.M., Hawaii time.   It is a 2-day, worldwide broadcast that features speakers  from the general authorities, general officers of the church, and featuring music from the famous world renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir with a total of 360 voices.

Practices and rehearsals are scheduled  at the Conference Center on Thursday, September 29th beginning at 3:30 P.M. until 5:30 P.M.

The Sunday morning session of General Conference starts at 6:00 A.M., after the “Music And The Spoken Word” broadcast lasting from 5:30 A.M. until 6:00 A.M.

The Sunday afternoon session, known as the concluding session,  will be televised at 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. as all of 21,000 people exits Temple Square to return home.

The Priesthood session of Conference is set for 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.

Sundays conference starts at 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M., following the final session from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
