On Friday, October 7th, I had the opportunity to go to the Mormon LDS Church to do voice practice and singing. My grandpa, who was my voice coach would have me do 6 warm-ups before I rehearse for the Waimea Community Christmas Concert.

That’s right! The community Christmas Concert will be held inside the chapel on Sunday, December 11th at 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M.

This celebration is for the public to come together to reflect on the birth of our beloved savior. The annunciation Parish choir, the Imiola Church choir, the Waimea Community Chorus, and other choral ensemble will share Christmas Carols that will be on the program.

I will be singing, and I’ll also be playing an organ selection taken from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. If you are interested in planning to attend this special performance, I highly encourage you to bring your Christmas spirit in to our chapel as the choir prepares to sing and tell stories of Jesus’s birth in Bethlehem.
