2016 Solemn High Mass of Thanksgiving to be broadcast

On Thursday, November 24th, a special live broadcast of the Solemn High Mass of Thanksgiving will be observed. This religious celebration will take place at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception located in Washington, D.C. as many people come together to know how grateful and thankful we are for all the things that has been provided for friends and families.

The history behind it was when the Plymouth colonists shared feasts as their special thanksgiving tradition. During the break out of the civil war, National Thanksgiving day was declared in 1863 by U.S. President Abraham Lincoln.

Thanksgiving is a time where families and friends would get together to be grateful and thankful and to appreciate all things made by the Lord. This broadcast of the mass from the National Shrine will be televised on Eternal Word Television Network which begins at 7:00 A.M. as everyone gathers inside the great chapel as music prepares to uplift and inspire many on this special occasion.
